Ingredients Of Dahi Bhalla

For the bhallas:

  • 400 gms moong dal

  • 1 cup urad dal

  • 2 tsp zeera

  • 1 tsp chironji

  • Oil (for deep frying)

You take only one dal also

For dahi:

  • 3 cups yogurt

  • 2 tbsp sugar, powdered

  • For chaat masala:

  • 2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp kali mirch

  • 2 tsp zeera powder

  • 2 tsp kitchen king

  • For garnishing:

  • Sev


How to Make Dahi Bhalla

1. Soak moong dal and urad dal for over night or 3-4 hours before grind.

2. After it grind them nicely.

3.Whisk the dal together till it becomes light and fluffy. Add zeera, little salt . The batter is ready. (batter check method to drop a batter on bowl of water if it was floated it is ready otherwise it is not)

4.With wet palms add small portions of batter into hot oil. Deep fry the bhallas till golden brown.


Prepare dahi:

  • 1.Whisk yogurt with some powdered sugar if curd was sour . Keep it in the fridge to cool.

  • Mix all the ingredients together on curd.

before plated bhallas on curd, soak a bhallas on hot or warm water for 1/2 or 1 hrs. After that squeeze them for remove all water.


serving:

  • khatti chutney, meethi chutney. Garnish with and sev. Sprinkle some chaat masala above curd and serve.
