Gulab jamun


Gulab Jamun prepared with two method

  1. With khoya

  2. With milk powder

With Khoya

Ingredients:-

250 g khoya

5 tbsp maida

1/4 tsp elachi powder

1/4 tsp baking powder

ghee for deep fry

sugar for syrup


Method:-

In a bowl, the Khoya(grated) + Maida + baking powder and elachi powder and mix well and knead to soft dough without using any water.

Divide this mixture equal portion and roll into round shape( without any crack in ball).

deep fry in ghee over a slow flame till golden colour.

Drain and immerse in the warm sugar syrup (in sugar syrup we also add elachi powder and gulab jal).


With Milk Powder

Ingredients:-

100 g milk powder

60 g maida

1/4 tsp elachi powder

1/4 tsp baking powder

ghee for deep fry

sugar for syrup

milk for making dough


Method:-

In a bowl, milk powder + Maida + baking powder and elachi powder and mix well and knead to soft dough with milk without using any water.

Divide this mixture equal portion and roll into round shape( without any crack in ball).

Drain and immerse in the warm sugar syrup (in sugar syrup we also add elachi powder and gulab jal).
