Shahi Paneer (with yellow gravy)

there are two types of shahi paneer 1. yellow and another is white gravy.


1 cup paneer (cube size)

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 tsp red chili powder (option)

1/8 tsp haldi

1 tsp garam masala

3 tbsp cream

1/2 tsp jeera

2-3 clove

1-2 inch cinnamon

1 cup onion (cube)

1 to 2 tomato medium size

2 tbsp ghee (desi) or 2 kewra water (option) at last

1 tbsp oil

salt to taste

12 whole kaju or 2-3 tbsp magaj

1 tbsp curd


1. add oil to pan for heating add kaju, magaj fry until light brown.

2. add onion, tomato.

3. blend this very little water to a make smooth puree or paste .

4. heat up the same pan with ghee or oil

5. add jeera, clove & cinnamon

6. add ginger garlic paste

7. next add puree or paste add haldi, red chilli & salt

8. next slow frame mix curd or milk

9. add paneer cube and cook till the shahi paneer gravy thickens.
