Vegetable Curry


  1. Large Carrot 1 pc

  2. Potato 1pc

  3. French Beans 10 pc

  4. Cauliflower 1/2 cup

  5. Onion 1 pc

  6. ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp

  7. Tomatoes 2 pc

  8. Haldi powder 1/4 tsp

  9. chat/amchur powder 1/2 tsp

  10. kitchen king masala 1 tsp

  11. salt to taste

  12. dry red chilli for paste 3 pc

  13. coriander seed 1/2 tbsp

  14. cinnamon stick for paste 1 pc

  15. cumin seed for seasoning 1/2 tsp

  16. oil for seasoning


1 Heat oil in a heavy bottomed vessel, add cumin and allow to splutter. add chopped onion and sauté till pink. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 3 min.

2 Add the carrot, potato, beans and cauliflower and sauté on medium flame for 3-4 mins on medium high flame. add salt and haldi and combine. Reduce flame, place lid and cook till the vegetable are half cooked. Add crush tomatoes and cook further for another 4-5 min.

3 Add 2 cups of water to the vegetables and bring to a boil. cook with lid for 7-8 min. Remove lid , add the ground paste and mix well. Add amchur powder and kitchen king and mix. cook on low- medium flame for 15-20 min, till the texture is thick and not watery.

4 Turn off heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. serve with hot rice, chapatis or dosas.
